Celebrating Community and Innovation: The Mosque Expo and 7th Beacon Mosque Awards
This past weekend, the vibrant community of mosque leaders, volunteers, and industry experts gathered for a remarkable event that showcased the dedication and innovation thriving within the Muslim community. The Mosque Expo and the 7th Beacon Mosque Awards drew in over 1,000 attendees, creating a dynamic atmosphere of celebration and inspiration.
Held at a prominent venue that buzzed with enthusiasm, the Mosque Expo served as a platform for organisations and industry experts to present their unique initiatives and services. As part of the Mosque Expo, was the delivery of 30 seminars on various topics related to: Education, Charity, Digitalisation, Sport, Immigration, Capacity building, Women’s development, Faith leadership and more. Across these seminars were 40 expert speakers from various backgrounds and expertise.
Among the highlights of the event was the 7th Beacon Mosque Awards ceremony, which recognized outstanding mosques and individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities over the past year. Categories included Best Run Mosque, Most Innovative project, and Best Future Design, to name a few.
