Following a successful roll-out of the programme to over 1500 students across 13 Islamic schools in London over the last two years, the Digital Safety & Citizens team would like to train a group of educators within the Muslim network in delivering the DISC Programme within their local settings.
We are looking for committed individuals to attend a one-day training conference in London, where we provide all the necessary information and resources to enable them to deliver digital safety sessions to young people in their network as Digital Safety Educators.
This training will take place on Monday 24th April from 9.30am to 1.00pm at the Society Building in Islington and is offered free of charge for individuals who meet the below criteria:
- Over 18 years of age
- Involved in the delivery of education or services to young Muslims such as:
- School or Madrassah teacher/leader
- Youth leader
- Sports coach
- Imam/Alimah
- Reside or work in Greater London
- Available to attend a whole-day training in February
