
Level 1 Child Protection and Safeguarding Training is a Local Authorities accredited training programme tailored for Madrassahs, Islamic Supplementary Schools and Mosques. The programme will enhance your knowledge of protecting and safeguarding children and vulnerable people at your institutes. It will help you recognize any warning signs of abuse, know what to do with any concerns you may have and take the right action to prevent abuse and protect your institute and staff from legal scrutiny.

Who Should Attend
Level 1 Safeguarding is legally mandatory for all those who work directly with children, young people, their families and/or careers, in order to enable them to safeguard and protect children. This holds true for all Madrassah and Supplementary school teachers, managers, administrators and assistants, whether working on a full time or part time basis, as volunteers or employees.
