The Mosque Expo 2023 was successfully held this weekend in Greater Manchester with record breaking numbers and attendances from the Muslim community across the UK. We had hundreds of Mosque leaders, management teams, volunteers, Imams and organisations attend throughout the day, engaging with our 40 exhibitors on show from different sectors. There were over 10 impact seminars that took place throughout the day which were standing room only, providing expert insight on the most important and pressing topics for the Muslim community. We thank the Football Association for their attendance and delivering a brilliant session on how football can be introduced into the Mosque setting and the engagement with the Muslim community. The team at GB Wrestling were also present, and successfully delivered a taster session for 30 children who had never previously engaged in Wrestling, which was a great success and entry into the sport.In the evening, the 6th British Beacon Mosque Awards was held with over 500 Mosque leaders in attendance celebrating excellence delivered by Mosques across the UK.
