National Cricket Activator Programme – Get Involved!

Faith Associates alongside the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are taking exciting cricket programmes and opportunities to 5 cities in the UK this Summer. We are working with institutions in Manchester, London (West & East), Birmingham & Bradford to take recreational cricket programmes and support to people off all ages and backgrounds, spreading the game of cricket and giving opportunities to those with a passion for the game. We will be working with Faith institutions in the 5 cities providing All Stars Cricket, Dynamos Cricket, Women’s Softball Cricket, Coaching Pathways and Women and Girls development training.

All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so. This programme is being provided nationally by Faith Associates to interested Mosques and faith institutions.

Dynamos Cricket provides a fantastic next step for all those graduating from All Stars Cricket and the perfect introduction for all 8-11 year-olds new to the sport. It is complementing junior cricket, Dynamos provides children with a more social offer focused on developing fundamental movement skills and applying them in an exciting game of countdown cricket. All stars and Dynamos are being provided nationally by Faith Associates to interested Mosques and Faith Institutions.

The National Activators will be trained to deliver both All Stars and Dynamos Cricket.

The National Activator role is perfect for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are looking to break boundaries and do something out of the ordinary. You don’t need any cricket or sports coaching experience, just an unshakeable can-do attitude and a desire to be part of something special and groundbreaking.

You can be part of something special and help children learn, have fun and create memories together through our national All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket programmes starting in late June 2021 across 5 centres in England. Volunteer to become a trained Activator and join hundreds of women/men from Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan backgrounds who are making a real difference to children and their communities.

By becoming a National Activator and sparing an hour or two a week for 8 weeks this summer, you will receive access to:

  • Free personalised kit from the ECB
  • Free First Aid training
  • Free DBS
  • Umpiring and scoring courses
  • Foundation Level 1 Cricket coaching courses opportunities
  • Mentorship and work experience opportunities
