Faith Associates in partnership with Bristol Council of Mosques recently provided COVID-19 Risk Assessments to five Mosques in the city of Bristol.
Mosques alongside other public places will need to ensure they can open safely committing to some of the key safety guidlines provided by the Government. Faith Associates and Bristol Council for Mosques worked to ensure Islamic Institutions that are risk assessed are safe and have the training to ensure they can keep their worshippers safe once re-open for congregational prayer.
COVID-19 Risk Assessment guidance and support
On the 23rd June 2020, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson officially stated that on the 4th July 2020 places of worship would be open again for “prayers and services” as long as safe to do so.
Great news that places of worship will reopen for prayer, weddings + communal worship from 4th July. Guidance will be published in the next few days to ensure that places of worship are #covidsecure. Special thanks to the members of the roundtables + Places of Worship Taskforce. https://t.co/hL5u6poCY9
