Re-Launching All Stars Cricket Programme alongside the ECB for 2020

Sharing is caring!

UPDATED: Faith Associates have officially re-launched the All Stars cricket programmes to Faith Institutions across the UK alongside the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2020.  The All Stars Cricket programmes are available to 5-11 year olds in Mosques, Madrassahs and Islamic Centres across the UK. There has been a delay in rolling out the Dyanmos Cricket Programmes for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with hope in 2021 we can work with the ECB to launch this exciting new programme into faith institutions.

We are excited to work with faith institutions in selecting a key lead activator who will recieve training from the ECB and be repsonsible for organising and forumulating the All Stars Cricket sessions alongside local All Stars leaders.

Pre COVID-19, we had a bespoke female training programme available which included a large range of support for women keen to get into the sport. However, due to the effects of the pandemic, this will now be rolled out in 2021. Empowering and encouraging females in faith institutions to be involved in the delivery in these cricket programmes in the long run is a key aim and focus for the ECB & Faith Associates. The ECB will be providing support and bespoke training for all women who participate and become volunteers. You can register your interest in the form below and in early 2021 we will be in touch.

Encouraging and taking these bespoke cricket programmes to Mosques across the UK fits with Faith Associates’ Beacon Mosque vision – developing and improving the standards of Mosques. Beacon Mosques should be providing services such as All stars Cricket programmes that improves their quality and variety of service to the community.

  • It’s great to see ECB is participating in wonderful projects like this. It’s a responsibility of every cricket board to participate in such events.
