Faith Associates Level 1 Safeguarding Training Is Now CPD Accredited

Faith Associates is pleased to announce that Level 1 Safeguarding and Child Protection Training delivered by Faith Associates to Mosques and Madrassahs is now CPD accredited and recognised.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a quality mark awarded to a learning activity that enhances and develops professional’s abilities, while providing conscious and proactive learning.

The successful accreditation is evidence of our commitment to continuous improvement and endeavour to deliver best service to the community.

In addition to being trained on safeguarding and protecting children in Mosques and Madrassahs, trainees acquire a total of 4-5 CPD points by attending a CPD accredited course, which will compliment personal career aspirations. Many institutions and professional bodies provide individuals with CPD targets expressed in terms of hours or points and expect their employees to meet those targets as evidence of personal professional development.

Ultimately, the training programme is aimed at increasing and improving Mosque and Madrassah staff and volunteers’ knowledge of safeguarding children and how to recognise and address warning signs of abuse. Safeguarding and Child Protection training is a legal requirement for any individual who has regular contact with children.

Attendees will receive a certificate upon completion of the training.
