Faith Associates and Lancashire Council of Mosques Celebrate Ramadan Efforts

Faith Associates came together with the Lancashire Council for Mosques to celebrate the extraordianry efforts made by Mosque Leaders during Ramadan.

The jointly organised Eid Dinner was a way of clebrating and congratualting both the Lancashire Muslim Community and the Lancashire Mosque Leaders on their fantastic efforts in raising £7 Million for Humanitarian Efforts in Gaza, Syria and Iraq.

Faith Associates joined with the Lancashire Council for Mosques to commend them on their implementation of Safer Giving in line with the regulations of the Charity Comission. The Lancashire Council of Mosques made sure that all charity fundraising was undertaken in the safest, most effective and most accountable way.         

Abdul Hamid Qureshi, chair of the Lancashire Council of Mosques, said: “Our Islamic belief compels us to support the needy irrespective of their creed or faith.This event is to say thank you to the Mosque leaders for supporting the communities’ charitable efforts and encouraging them to give in a safe way.”
